Opening Camp

Opening Camp for the 2013 season is well under way. The Dining Hall is open, the docks are in, and over half of our cabins are set-up for residency. The crew have arrived and Pinecones porch is filled with their music and laughter. The work weekends have been productive, as well as fun, and we have mountains of cleared branches ready to be taken away before campers arrive.

A fox and her two cubs have been sighted over by Quite Carried Away. Sophie has attempted to give chase but is no match for them. Its been a particularly good spring for turtles, frogs, ladyslippers, and hermit thrush. Every spring it begins anew, and once again, camp comes alive.
