Directions

Parking space is limited at Pinewoods. Please car-pool, if possible. Also, in consideration of our neighbors, please use the Halfway Pond Road approach to camp, rather than the route past the boat ramp.

Warnings

  1. For GPS maps get directions to 148 Halfway Pond Road and then follow THE LAST MILE directions below. Do not trust on-line mapping services, nor your GPS, to give you correct routes into Pinewoods. Many of the nearby roads shown on maps do not connect to one another, and some go across private property. West Long Pond Road is the only access to Cornish Field Road and Pinewoods Camp! Please follow these directions.
  2. The last part of the highway routes to Pinewoods are the same routes that lead to Cape Cod, thus weekend traffic may be heavy. Leave extra time!
  3. The final portion of the route is narrow, rutted, winding, bumpy, and hidden away from the rest of the world. If you have not traveled to Pinewoods before, please plan to arrive before dark.
  4. Pinewoods is off the beaten track. If you are taking a taxi or shuttle to camp, please have your driving directions handy for easy reference.
  5. If you arrive between 3:00 and 6:00 on the arrival afternoon, you will be met at the entrance by a greet crew. If you arrive later look for posted directions on the greeting shed at the entrance.
