Greenwood Fest

August 4, 2016

Plymouth CRAFT’s Greenwood Fest 2017 brings some of the world’s best green woodworkers together for two and a half days of demonstrations and workshops, as well as plenty of unstructured learning time. Sessions include pole-lathe turning, chair-making, riving, hewing, clog-making, bowl-carving, joinery, lettering, and lots and lots of spoon-carving from sundry traditions.

Special visiting Greenwood instructors include, from Sweden, Jögge Sundqvist; from England, JoJo Wood and Barn Carder; from Brittany, Jane Mickelborough. American instructors include Jarrod Stone Dahl from Wisconsin; David Fisher from Pennsylvania, Tim Manney from Maine, Darrick Sanderson from New York, and Peter Galbert from Massachusetts. Among Plymouth CRAFT’s core instructors will be Peter Follansbee, Pret Woodburn, Rick McKee, and Paula Marcoux. Our super-special keynote speaker is Roy Underhill, of PBS’s The Woodwright’s Shop.
