Pinewoods Camp, Inc.

I had the pleasure of attending the Royal Scottish Country Dance Society Scottish Session I recently.  It was a privilege to receive a NGI Scholarship, which made it much easier for me to afford attending Pinewoods.

I want to thank you for welcoming me to Pinewoods.  I really enjoyed making new friends, and staying connected with old friends I’ve made thru Scottish Dancing.  Everyone at Pinewoods made me feel at home, and I was paired with a roommate who was very nice. The food was great, and working in the dining hall was fun.

At Pinewoods, I enjoyed taking classes and swimming in Long Pond during the days.  At night I greatly enjoyed the Grand March at the Saturday night ball.  I met a wonderful teacher named Lance Ramshaw who taught a great class.  My experience made me want to come back next year, and convince my sister to come as well.

I want to express my gratitude for the NGI scholarship, and for the wonderful time that I had at Pinewoods!
